_results for patients and their referring physicians. Our DXA Service
Manager and _our technical staff are certified by the ISCD, a high
standard for technologists. _Our Director is an ISCD Officer and
Certification Course instructor. No other East _Bay site sets this high a

NCIBH’s DXA machines can be made identical in operating and technical
characteristics for scan
acquisition to previous machines utilized at
other sites within the_ community. Newer improved manufacturing
techniques allow_ comparability of machines when upgrading occurs but
allow even more_ extensive and advanced applications. The ISCD standards
suggest that_ inter-machine variability on the same manufacturers’
machine is + 2%._ Internal data from the manufacturers’ suggest this
factor may be as_ small as + 1%. Adjustment for these factors in
reporting can and is_ being made.
_The

_of the center’s technical staff. By achieving ISCD Certification and by
_following ISCD Official Positions, you can be sure that our staff meets
