Available Positions:

Clinical Research Manager

The Northern California Institute for Bone Health, Inc, a non-profit organization, invite applications for a full time position as Clinical Research Manager for various clinical research studies. The incumbent will be responsible for coordination, management, data collection, analyzing and interpreting epidemiologic data. Responsibilities include write study grants, budget proposals, protocol management, subject recruitment and screening, performance of study procedures, corresponding with study sponsors, patient assessment, patient education and support, maintenance of regulatory document, compliance with IRB, clinical SOPs. The incumbent will also be responsible for study clinic visits, enrolling and randomizing patients as well as follow-up as required by study protocol, safe handling of specimens, specimen collecting, processing and performing tests. Other study related procedures include phlebotomy, EKG, allergen testing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB: This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative. Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel) and Epi Info 6 preferred. Employee in this function must be Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Licensed RN in California (The purpose of this Clinical RN role is to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, direct and appropriately delegate to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care. This registered professional nurse will function within the full scope of RN licensure, according to the CA Nursing Practice Act. The Clinical RN will provide assessment, development, and implementation of the care plan, evaluating the effectiveness of that care, directing emergency interventions and collaborating with physicians, team members, and others to optimally manage patient care in the interest of the patient.), Epidemiology experience or certificate preferred, Certification in Phlebotomy required, at least 5 years experience in Public Health and Clinical Research processes. Regulatory submissions and medical chart reviews; excellent writing, editing, communication and interpersonal skills; experience writing scientific correspondence. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines for concurrent projects and superior organizational skills.

Salary: $ 60,000/year
Work Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:30 PM
