Dr. Schwartz is the Institute Director of the Northern California Institute for Bone Health, Inc. He has almost 30 years experience in the use and evaluation ofnumerous bone densitometric techniques.
_Dr. Schwartz is one of only eight physicians
worldwide who is certified in _both central and peripheral densitometry.
His interests include education of _physicians and the lay public about
osteoporosis, the role of peripheral bone _densitometry in osteoporosis
evaluation and the expansion of high quality _osteoporosis diagnosis and
care.
_He is currently the Treasurer of the International Society for Clinical _Densitometry (ISCD) and serves on multiple committees including Chair of _the Facility Accreditation Council, is a member of the Fracture Risk Task Force, is a Regional Representative, and also is an Instructor of the physicians’ ISCD BDC and BFA courses.
